UMeas

In order to determine heat permeability of building elements, measurements of two parameters (heat fluxes and temperatūru) in long period of time are necessary. It is because the process usually is unstacionar and relation U=q/DT does not fulfill. For this reason, originally elaborated software for data processing DataProc is applied. Sufficient amount of data are obtained registrating heat flux through the element (with heat flux sensor) and temperature at both sides of it (with thermopair) during several days. They are collected into computer by aid of ACP. The task of UMeas is to regulate and control the measurements, and display the obtained measurement data.

Schema for registration of heat fluxes and temperature

The necessary measurement duration should be given, and time interval between measurements. Averaged values of measurement data are written to data file, because the measuremnts are carried out with an order of ten or hundred in a minute depending on the harware and its load. The data of termopair are corrected by calibration constants that are characteristic for each of them. Moreover, heat flux density is transformed taking into account the constants for each sensor. The data of measurements are written int a file, that is further used for calculation of heat transfer coefficient with original methodology and using the corresponding software of data processing DataProc.
