Aim and Objectives

The main aim of the intensive course is to bring together PhD students (preferably from second and third year) from different countries in order to create an exchange of experiences in the field of Electromagnetic Processing of Materials. They will have the possibility to stay together for 9 days because after the Intensive course they are invited to attend the MMP 2006 International Scientific Colloquium).

The intensive course gives to the students the possibility to attend lectures by international experts and to share their experience in the field of simulation of electro-thermal, hydrodynamic and mass exchange processes, and in executing experimental tests related to simulations.

During the five days course the students will be asked not only to attend lectures but mainly to develop some projects proposed by the supervisors. At the end of the course they will be asked to present the work done in co-operation with other colleagues.
